GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Our client with National Footprint got a Graphic Designer position available.

Formal Education:

Degree or a National Diploma in Graphic Design

Experience:

Minimum of five years experience

• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Publisher).

Language Requirements:

Will enable you to fulfill the following duties:

Website Design and Maintenance:

• Design and develop responsive WordPress websites.
• Customise themes, templates, and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Ensure websites are optimised for performance, accessibility, and SEO.
• Ensure websites are visually appealing and user-friendly.
• Perform routine website updates, backups, and troubleshooting.

Social Media Design and Management:

• Create visually engaging graphics, banners, and posts for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Maintain brand consistency across digital platforms.
• Collaborate with the team to execute social media campaigns.
• Schedule and publish content using social media management tools.
• Monitor social media trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve.

General Design & Development:

• Create high-end, polished, and engaging presentations that align with brand identity and communicate ideas effectively.
• Design and develop graphics and multimedia content for product illustrations, logos, websites, newsletters, videos, and animations.
• Provide quality control over concepts, processes, deliverables, and projects.
• Guide research and development projects, drive innovation, and advise on new techniques and approaches.
• Ensure current brand guidelines are followed and improved upon.
• Ensure all communication messaging meets brief specifications and that all designs are of the highest quality and standard.
• Develop innovative, creative designs and ideas.
• Create compelling and shareable graphics and content for the company's social media platforms.
• Edit, change, and design elements on websites.
• Meet the various design and typesetting requirements of the marketing team.
• Design and improve digital experiences (websites, microsites, apps).

People:

• Market the company in a professional manner to clients and prospective clients and maintain sound business relationships with existing clients.
• Communicate with others in ways that are clear, concise and understandable.
• Demonstrate ease in relating to a diverse range of people of varying backgrounds, ages, experience and education level.
