To ensure continuous adherence to all policies, procedures and production standards. Ability to Test, Fault-find, Log in failures, rectify/adjust and update job status on ERP Shop orders ensuring that delivery due dates are met. Testing and fault finding of complete units (LRU) and sub modules (SRU) up to assembly level. Testing and fault finding of analogue and digital circuitry up to component level. Installs, maintains, calibrates and repairs basic electronic equipment where required. Generate feedback information, highlighting technical problems encountered on equipment for corrective action to be taken. Support the Team leader in meeting departmental goals. Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies and procedures, health & safety, and environmental compliance. Observing and maintaining shelf life of materials, 5's, ESD, FOD and other lean and manufacturing principles. Ability to use processes and procedures as documented in executing Testing of parts i.e. SRU's and LRU's. Ensure proper use and safekeeping of tools, test equipment and special jigs used in execution of duties. Create MRB's in system when any failures/blockers are experienced. Ensure that all testing equipment is appropriately calibrated. Delivery Deadline driven with customer focus. Adjust or replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry or electronics components, using relevant tools. Maintain inventory of job materials/consumables and floor stock.
The person must be output focused to ensure that customer deliveries are met. Be a team player to support the Manager and Team Leader in meeting departmental goals in terms of quality, performance, cost and timeous deliveries.
Knowledge of the practical application of analogue and digital designs, this includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and technical know-how in troubleshooting. Knowledge of IPC standards and application. Knowledge of ERP systems, 5S, FOD, Digital and Analog Applications. Ability to read blueprints, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling electronic units. Record data on testing results. Understands and applies configuration processes. Must be able to understand the functionality of Test Equipment/Instrumentation and utilize them in Testing & fault-finding of SRU (Shop Replaceable Units) and LRU (Line Replaceable Units).
Ability to adhere to the Company's Standard Work Processes and give feedback to improve and execution thereof. Able to achieve and maintain a high level of technical and professional skills/knowledge in job-related areas. Keeps abreast of current developments and trends in their area of expertise. Achieves required results in specific technical/professional areas. Ability to read electronic circuit diagram, analyses and use it for fault finding. Logical and systematic analysis of circuitry. Overall testing multiple Projects. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Actively supports and helps others to solve work problems and achieve team objectives. Provides team with support on technical issues and makes technically sound recommendations. Proactive engagement with all stakeholders as and when required.

National Diploma / BTech / Electronic / Electrical Engineering or Equivalent. Leadership training will be an advantage.
