GRADE 000 PRE SCHOOL TEACHER

(JUNE/JULY 2025)

The successful candidate must be an experienced and well-qualified teacher who holds an appropriate professional teaching qualification and is registered with SACE.

In addition, the applicant must:

• Minimum of 3 year’s experience
• Be a committed Christian who is passionate about education, self-motivated, organised, energetic and confident
• Have a deep understanding of early childhood developmental milestones and the ability to design age-appropriate learning activities.
• Have the ability to create a safe, engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
• Be familiar with Thinking Skills and strategies
• Have experience in the Reggio Emilia approach (optional)
• Have excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents and caregivers, providing regular feedback on each child’s progress and development.
• Have a sound knowledge of current trends and best practice in early childhood development
• Be passionate about inclusive education, and have the ability to work with children who have individual needs
• Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Be prepared to work outside of school hours, where necessary
