We’re looking for an IT Manager who can lead and optimise our clients' IT operations while managing a team of tech-savvy professionals. You’ll keep nearly 400 staff located around the world connected and productive, working closely with the Operations Director to shape and future-proof the IT infrastructure.

This role offers unparalleled creative freedom to build and shape their IT infrastructure from scratch. You’ll be implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to safeguard systems and data across departments, reducing cyber risks and ensuring seamless operations.

As the IT Operations Manager you will own the company’s annual budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Handle hardware, software, and network issues with finesse and efficiency. You will monitor network performance, implement optimisation strategies and ensure reliability.

We need someone with 8+ years of experience and expertise in managing remote teams. Fluency in programming languages, operating systems, cybersecurity legal compliance and project management.

Education Requirements

• A Degree in IT (or equivalent in computer science, information systems, or business management)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and Manage IT Teams: Effectively coordinate and supervise IT staff, ensuring streamlined operations and optimal productivity for a multinational organisation
• Annual IT Budget Management: Handle the department's annual budget, focusing on cost-effective solutions without compromising quality
• Comprehensive IT Operations Management: Oversee all IT-related matters, including data management, wireless communications, mobile technology, telephony, cybersecurity, and computer hardware/software maintenance
• Hardware, Software, and Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems promptly
• Strategic IT Procurement: Research and recommend the best network hardware and software acquisitions to align with company needs and goals
• Optimize Network Performance: Monitor network utilisation, implement optimization strategies, and ensure reliability and high availability of systems
• Proactive Problem Solving: Identify potential IT challenges and deploy strategic solutions to mitigate risks and enhance operations
• Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term partnerships with external vendors for IT-related products and services
