General Restaurant Manager

Padlangs Restaurant at Derdepark Centre - General Manager required

Located on Cullinan Road, Sefako Makgatho, Derdepark Pretoria

Must be energetic, passionate, and driven to succeed. Looking for someone who can work under pressure and who has a generally positive outlook.

Duties:

1. Overseeing daily operations
2. Managing staff
3. Ensuring compliance with standards
4. Handling customer issues
5. Supporting marketing activities for a positive dining experience
6. Maintaining a positive restaurant culture
7. Maintaining relationships with upper management
8. Controlling expenses and stock/inventory

Minimum Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role required; Candidates with working history at previous employers preferred.
2. Must reside within a 30km radius - Must be able to reliably commute to and from the location.
3. Matric.
4. Must be standards orientated.
5. Excellent working knowledge of Food and Beverage.
6. High level of customer service, high level of numeracy skills, disciplined, organised, attention to detail, deadline driven.
7. Excellent Communication Skills in English and Afrikaans required.
8. High degree of self-motivation and ambition.
9. Skills to work both independently and as part of a team.
