The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Representing and selling the company’s hardware and tool products and services to customers and obtaining orders in the allocated hardware markets.
• Achieving agreed sales volumes and GP targets for the area of responsibility.
• Keeping the Regional Sales Manager informed of competitor activity, customer status, and weekly activities.
• Obtaining new business for the Company by calling on new and existing customers, obtaining orders, and promoting new products into the market.
• Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction by:
• Calling regularly on customers.
• Ensuring that orders are processed and delivered.
• Following up with customers.
• Resolving customer problems and complaints speedily.

The ideal candidate must:

• Have customer-centric skills.
• Have excellent communication ability – written & verbal.
• Have excellent product knowledge.
• Travel extensively and be based in Pretoria.
