An exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional or management couple to oversee a 4-star luxury lodge and farm in the scenic Southern Drakensberg, KZN. This hands-on role involves managing lodge operations, guest services, farm activities, and a game reserve while maintaining high hospitality and sustainability standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably in a luxury lodge or eco-tourism setting
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on approach to managing operations, staff, and guest services
• Passion for sustainability, conservation, and farm management
• Basic Excel, tech, and maintenance skills
• Strong communication skills; basic Zulu proficiency is an advantage

Duties

• Oversee front-of-house operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience
• Manage reservations, occupancy, and revenue strategies
• Supervise housekeeping, lodge maintenance, and property upkeep
• Oversee kitchen staff and dining services, ensuring high standards
• Manage farm, grounds, and game reserve maintenance
• Recruit, train, and lead a skilled hospitality and maintenance team
• Control costs, monitor stock, and implement efficient procurement strategies
• Foster guest relations and maintain strong supplier and community connections
