General Manager (expat DRC)

The ideal candidate will be an expat with experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the business. They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees as well as onboarding and hiring new team members.

Responsibilities

1. Over 11 years experience in a mining environment exposed to project-based management
2. Manage operations and finances of business
3. High level experience with the tax laws and regulations for the DRC
4. Fluent English is essential
5. Preparing reporting, financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting
6. Deadline, project and goal orientated mindset
7. Strategic, hands on as well as quick thinking

Qualifications

1. Relevant degree and experience in various countries into Africa
2. Management of various divisions such as HSE, HR, Supply Chain, Finance, Fleet and Clearing
3. Ensure ISO standards are maintained at all times
4. Strong operational experience, leadership as well as financial leader
5. Computer literacy is essential
