General Manager

A well-established retail shop that has been trading for over 50 years selling paint, industrial coatings and related hardware and applicators based in Pietermaritzburg KZN is seeking an experienced, dynamic General Manager to join their organization.

Requirements:

1. Experience in the coating industry
2. B-Com in business management or equivalent experience
3. Experience with managing a going-concern for at least 5 years
4. Good understanding of industry applications and products
5. Good communication skills

1. Overseeing all aspects of the business function including liaising with the management and supervisors
2. Maintaining a strong team relationship with all staff
3. Maintaining a strong relationship with suppliers
4. Maintaining customer satisfaction
5. New business development
6. Prepare reports for shareholders
