Full Stack Javascript Engineer

To strengthen our team in South Africa, we are looking for a French-speaking Luxury Travel Consultant. Ten Group is the global leader in lifestyle and travel services.

Overview of Responsibilities:

1. Advising our clients – premium cardholders – by phone and email in both French and English.
2. Handling customer inquiries from quote preparation to billing for individual trips.
3. Making reservations with airlines, hotels, and travel agencies.
4. Creating tailored offers, travel documents, and detailed travel itineraries.
5. Passionately advising and facilitating unique travel experiences.
6. Actively selling special promotions and exclusive offers.

Requirements:

1. Have the required authorization to live and work in South Africa.
2. Strong and proven track record in Europe leisure sales as well as worldwide itineraries.
3. Experience in Travel retail or Tour operator environment essential.
4. Experience and sound knowledge of GDS (preferably Amadeus).
5. Professional fluency (both written and spoken) in French and English (level C1 or higher according to The Common European Framework).
6. Additional German and/or Italian proficiency is a big plus.
7. Impeccable listening skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work well in a team environment.
8. Ability to multitask, assist where needed, maintain strong attention to detail, resolve problems independently, and work well under pressure.
9. Energetic and motivated team player who enjoys challenges.
10. Strong communication skills and a passion for providing excellent service.
11. Flexibility: Willingness to work 5 days a week between 07:00 and 22:00 SAST, Sunday to Thursday, plus every 3rd weekend off.

Guidelines for Hybrid / Home Office Option:

1. Located in South Africa.
2. Please note that if you live within a commutable distance of the office, you will be asked to enter into a hybrid working arrangement - at least 2x a week in the office.
3. A secure home office at your confirmed address, free from background noise or other distractions.
4. You must meet our minimum internet speeds if you want to work remotely/in our hybrid model, and this will be checked during the recruitment process and again when you join.
