Front End Developer (E-commerce)

Our E-commerce client in the UK is looking for a Frontend Website Developer with Backend experience, Remote

As a Website Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining responsive, user-friendly websites, implementing new features, and enhancing website performance. You should have expertise in both front-end and back-end development, with a focus on providing an optimal user experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Develop, test, and maintain high-quality websites.
2. Collaborate with team members to implement new features and improvements.
3. Write clean, maintainable code adhering to best practices.
4. Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability.
5. Resolve technical issues related to web applications.
6. Ensure website compatibility across various browsers and devices.
7. Implement SEO best practices.
8. Stay abreast with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Website Developer or similar role.
2. Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
3. Understanding of back-end development (PHP, Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails).
4. Experience with CMS platforms and databases.
5. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, version control systems, SEO, and Google Analytics.
6. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, attention to detail, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in eCommerce Website Development & Cloud platforms.
2. Understanding of UI/UX principles and Agile Methodologies.
