A vacancy has arisen in respect of a full time French teacher. The successful applicant is expected to be able to take up the post from the beginning Term 3 2025.
The position is an opportunity for a talented, creative, enthusiastic and qualified French teacher. The position would report to the HOD of French and the Director of Academics. The responsibilities of the post are focused on but not limited to teaching French Second Additional Language classes.
The successful candidate will be in possession of a suitable qualification, have a professional teaching qualification and have experience in teaching French as an additional language, preferably through to Grade 12. Experience with the I.E.B. examinations would be an advantage. Registration with SACE is required.
The successful applicant is likely to possess the following key competencies: the ability to be assertive but flexible and to pay attention to detail; to be self-motivating; to have a strong work ethic; to have excellent inter-personal skills and an ability to strategize whilst being practical.
