The vehicle brands under the group are the following: JAC Motors, Jetour Motors, MG Motors, Mitsubishi Motors, and Used.

Job Overview

The Franchise Director is responsible for overseeing and managing multiple franchise car dealerships, ensuring operational excellence, profitability, and adherence to corporate standards. This role involves developing strategic business plans, maintaining strong relationships with franchise owners, and driving sales growth while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a deep understanding of automotive sales, dealership management, and franchise operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Franchise Operations Management: Oversee the performance of multiple dealership franchises, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and industry standards.
  2. Sales & Profitability Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, maximize profitability, and enhance customer experience across all franchise locations.
  3. Compliance & Standards: Ensure all dealerships adhere to brand guidelines, manufacturer policies, legal regulations, and company operational standards.
  4. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze dealership performance metrics, including sales targets, customer satisfaction scores, and financial KPIs.
  5. Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with franchise owners, dealership managers, and manufacturer representatives to foster collaboration and growth.
  6. Marketing & Brand Management: Work with marketing teams to develop localized promotional strategies that enhance brand presence and customer engagement.
  7. Training & Development: Provide coaching and professional development to dealership managers, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
  8. Market Expansion & Growth: Identify opportunities for franchise expansion and work with senior leadership to develop and implement growth strategies.
  9. Conflict Resolution: Address operational challenges, resolve disputes, and provide strategic guidance to improve dealership performance.

Requirements & Qualifications

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  2. Experience: Minimum of 10 years in automotive retail management and dealership operations in the role of Franchise Director.
  3. Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the automotive sales industry, franchise business models, and dealership financials.
  4. Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading multi-location operations, managing large teams, and driving business success.
  5. Analytical & Financial Acumen: Strong ability to analyze business performance, financial statements, and market trends to make data-driven decisions.
  6. Communication & Negotiation: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  7. Problem-Solving: Ability to address operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
  8. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in dealership management software, Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and reporting tools.
  9. Travel: Willingness to travel frequently to different dealership locations.
