Foundation Phase Teacher Curro Midrand Sagewood

We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and/or skillsets:

1. An appropriate academic and professional education qualification from a recognised institution.
2. 2 to 3 years' experience in teaching Foundation Phase.
3. Current SACE registration.
4. A clear criminal record.

As a Foundation Phase Teacher, you will be responsible for:

1. Planning, controlling, recording, and reporting on assessments.
2. Attending meetings, forums, and workshops for the grades/phase as required.
3. Creating an educational atmosphere in the classroom.
4. Taking responsibility for any and all school equipment and stock of the class.
5. Working closely with the teachers in the grades/phase to ensure the effective running of the grades/phase.
6. Managing, planning, assisting, and promoting teaching and learning within the class.
7. Managing, planning, assisting, and promoting activities (sport and culture) within the school.
8. Managing, planning, assisting, and promoting discipline within the grades/phase.
9. Assisting with sport and other admin duties as and when the need arises.
10. Demonstrating personal commitment to education and a willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the school.
