Job description

Fuel: Company fuel card to be provided for business purposes.

Commission:

  1. Sales of Equipment – 10% on GP
  2. STR – 3% of invoice
  3. LTR – 5% of invoice – or once off upfront if machine is financed

Medical Aid:

Fifty percent (50%) contribution towards the cost of a Medical Aid Scheme of your choice will be provided by the company after 6 months of employment.

Provident Fund:

Joining of provident fund will take place after 6 months of employment to which the employee will contribute 5% of basic salary and the employer will contribute the other 5%.

Main Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate the existing customer base and grow and develop this base in terms of agreed budgets and targets.
  • Develop your customer base through planned marketing and skills application.
  • Promote the sales of Forklift on new and used equipment.
  • Achieve monthly as well as annual sales and margin budgets.
  • Report to the Branch Manager.
  • Manage and update the CRM database for current and new potential business.
  • Provide weekly reports on Cold Calling activities and Sales Reports to your Branch Manager.
  • Keep trip sheets / log book in accordance with the monthly fuel costs.
  • Manage the fuel card as efficiently as possible.

Scope:

  • Increase the market share on local markets and industries to see annual growth between 15% - 20%.
  • Set out a strategy to achieve an increase in market share by 30% across all departments by year.
  • Effectively manage the CRM for your area and update the records weekly.
  • Grow the rental of forklifts and warehouse equipment business in your area monthly.
  • Bring in additional revenue streams to our 2 supporting departments, workshops and parts.
  • Increase sales on tyres, parts, services etc.

  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage others.
  • Ability to work and liaise across a number of departments and functions.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and contribute to a positive and energetic work environment.
