My client, who is in the FMCG (Fresh Produce) industry, is looking for a Food Technologist to join their dynamic team.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Must have Grade 12
2. BSc Degree in food science, chemistry, food engineering, or food technology
3. Knowledge of Food Safety in refrigerated food segment - temperature-sensitive products
4. Knowledge of CCPs and OPRPs in high-risk production
5. Knowledge of Food Safety (HACCP, ISO, SANS, TS)
6. Knowledge of New Product Development
7. Proven experience within the South African FMCG industry
8. 2 - 3 Years working experience in a similar role
9. Must be willing to work Night Shift - 6-day working week
10. Maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Control System and Food Safety Procedures (GMP, HACCP)
11. Planning/scheduling cleaning operations and ensuring that all staff are trained on the SOPs
12. Will also be responsible for the operational side as well as the training
