Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Product application trials on new products.
  2. Development of products and new markets; customer training.
  3. On-site testing and evaluation of products as required by clients.
  4. New product development for butchers and large factories in the interests of generating new markets; liaising with customers along with Senior Food Technologists.
  5. Technical advisory services to butchers including consulting on product quality.
  6. Production capacities and efficiencies.
  7. Implementation of quality control/assurance systems in order to increase production output and shelf life of products.
  8. Researching potential new markets for new business.
  9. Analyzing and reporting on sales leads linked to clients.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in food science, nutrition, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in the food industry.

Key Skills:

  1. Strong technical skills, including knowledge of food chemistry, food processing, and food safety.
  2. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
