The purpose of the role is to ensure FSSC22000 ongoing certification and to continuously improve the system’s effectiveness. Management of the Lab and Product Quality. Responsible to implement, monitor, audit and manage the Environmental Management system based on (ISO14001) principles.
POSITION INFO :
Minimum requirements :
At least 5 years’ experience in establishing and implementing a GFSI system.
As the Food Safety Manager, achieved a GFSI certification.
Outstanding Internal auditing skills on FSSC22000 (or any other GFSI System).
Internal auditing experience on ISO14001 will be to the applicant’s advantage.
Assertive and results driven.
Punctual on achieving target dates.
Efficient, well organized and approach tasks in a structured way.
MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Management and leadership skills.
Report writing skills.

Role and responsibilities :
Conduct high standard internal audits against the FSSC22000 standard, IP Handling, and Environmental audits. Report writing and effective corrective action. Feedback to management.
Ensure successful external audits by customers and certification bodies to achieve certification and supplier approval.
Management of the Lab, ensuring 100% efficiency of lab equipment, monitoring of quality, record keeping, statistics, etc.
Daily reporting on product conformance.
Sample analysis at external and internal labs and the interpretation of results.
Liaise with customers on complaints, perform root cause analysis, identify corrective and preventive actions, follow up on effectiveness and draw up graphs.
Training on FSSC22000 and Environmental Management.
Communication: Meetings and info sessions.
Document and record control.
Compile business review papers and other reports for evaluation by senior management.
The successful candidate must be willing to relocate within 50km of the Plant.
