Job description

Our client seeks to employ a FMCG Sales Representative in Cape Town. The ideal candidate is responsible for driving sales and growing market shares of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) products. This role involves building relationships with clients, reaching sales targets, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies for assigned territory.
  2. Promote and sell a range of FMCG products to existing and prospective clients.
  3. Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  4. Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
  5. Maintain and improve relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance.
  6. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  7. Participate in trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations to represent the company.
  8. Stay updated with the latest product knowledge, marketing promotions, and competitor activities.
  9. Provide aftersales support to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain client relationships.

Qualifications and Experience:

  2. Minimum of 2-3 years experience in FMCG sales.

  5. Ability to reach sales targets and drive profitability.
  6. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  8. Strong leadership and management skills.
  9. Proficiency in financial and insurance processes.
  10. Customer-centric approach and excellent service orientation.
  11. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  12. Attention to detail and data integrity.

Education:

Must have Matric. Must be competent in Computer Literacy.
