About the Role:

As a Web Developer Project Manager at Flight3, you will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of web projects. This role requires a highly organized individual with strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with our development, design, and marketing teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing freelancers to support project delivery.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Management:
   • Set budgets, scopes, and timelines for web projects.
   • Create detailed project plans, including deadlines and action items for every project team member.
   • Lead daily or weekly project team meetings to review progress and adjust timelines as necessary.
   • Write project status reports for the team and key executives.
   • Address bottlenecks and work with team members individually to resolve any issues.
   • Host project recap meetings to gather team feedback and improve processes.
   • Present final web projects to executives and clients.
   • Manage client aftercare to ensure smooth handover and client satisfaction.
2. UI/UX Design Oversight:
   • Oversee the development and delivery of UI/UX designs, ensuring alignment with project goals and user-centered design principles.
   • Collaborate closely with internal and external UX/UI teams to deliver cohesive and effective design solutions.
3. Freelancer Management:
   • Source and manage freelancers to support project delivery, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to project budgets and timelines.

Requirements:

• Experience and Skills:
  • Demonstrable professional experience as a Web Developer Project Manager or in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of managing web projects from concept to delivery.
  • Expertise in using common project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, JIRA, Clickup is our preferred project management tool).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead team meetings and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Exceptional time management, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed project documentation, Gantt charts etc.
  • Experience in sourcing and managing freelancers.
  • Proficiency in Figma for overseeing UI/UX design projects.
• Education and Experience Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • An associate's or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Project Management certification is strongly preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of project management experience in web development is required.
• Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
  • Knowledge of Web3 technologies and their integration into digital projects.
  • Previous experience working in a marketing or digital agency setting.
  • Experience with UX/UI design principles and collaboration with design teams.
  • Graphic design skills.
