KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the constant fire surveillance of the ship.
Co-operate with the Safety Officer for the maintenance and cleanliness of firefighting equipment.
Work in co-operation preparing all means of access on board (ladders, gangways, etc.) respecting all injury prevention rules related to them.
Understanding methods and procedures for the maintenance of firefighting equipment and structural devices.
QUALIFICATIONS
Know, understand and implement the Company Policy in respect of the ISM (International Safety Management).
Sufficient knowledge in firefighting techniques and injury prevention.
Sufficient knowledge in maintenance, techniques, and seamanship.
Knowledge of International, National, and Company regulations regarding safety.
Advanced Fire Fighting Training Certification.
Physically fit and healthy.
Proven successful experience for at least 2 years in a similar position at sea or at least 4 years as a sailor on a passenger ship.
