My client, a leading player in transport and logistics, is looking for a skilled and capable Finance Manager in Pinetown to take lead and oversee all financial obligations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and maintain financial reporting systems
Manage and maintain information systems
Preparation and co-ordination of budgets
Maintain effective internal and external relationships
Monthly management accounts
IFRS
Conduct audits (both planned and unplanned)
Implement and manage Policies and Procedures
Profitability analysis
Full Financial Function
Training and development of subordinates
Desired Experience & Qualification
Educational Requirements:
BComm Finance (Accounting Specialization)
Honours (Would be advantageous)
Experience:
Extensive general Management Accounting experience, incorporating the full spectrum of Accounting Administration
5 years management experience (non-negotiable)
Preference will be given to applicants with freight / bus / general transport experiential background
Advanced Excel skills which includes as minimum functions such as Macros, File Links, Pivot Tables, Data tables
