Description: The Financial Manager will be responsible for applying strategic financial management to ensure sustainable profitability while maintaining and developing finance policies and procedures.

The incumbent will play a key role in financial planning, risk management, system controls, and overall financial leadership within AFGRI Logistics.

Requirements:

1. BCom Accounting
2. Completed articles will be an advantage
3. 3-5 years of post-graduate financial management experience

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

1. Develop and maintain accounting systems, contribute to strategic decision-making, and enhance financial controls.
2. Manage financial best practices, cash flow, budgeting, financial forecasting, and compliance with IFRS and company policies.
3. Recruit, develop, and manage a team while fostering a motivational work environment.
4. Ensure a clean audit report, maintain an internal control matrix, and manage financial risks proactively.
5. Process credit applications, oversee debtor functions, and ensure efficient credit control processes.
6. Assist in system testing, updates, and reporting to improve financial systems.
7. Administration Management: Oversee admin functions, invoice processing, and reporting.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

1. Advanced proficiency in MS Office
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills
3. Working knowledge of financial systems (IFRS, SAP, VAT, SARS)
4. Exposure to financial management techniques and principles
