Job description

To partner with the business in the provision of financial advice andsupport to increase operational quality, through the execution of financialservices as per agreed standard operating procedures

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Establish, align, and manage target and budget goals whilstensuring effective control of costs to increase costefficiency
  • Establish and manage a high level of organisational cooperation to ensure a professional service delivery
  • Develop a service culture which build rewardingrelationships, proposes innovations, and allows others toprovide exceptional client service
  • Conduct associated intervention activities in line withapplicable laws, policies and procedures stipulated in the company
  • Prepare tax returns to ensure accuracy, completeness, andcompliance with applicable tax legislation and regulation;provide advice and solutions to business tax matters
  • Apply relevant principles to accurately record, adjust andreconcile financial transactions and events.
  • Maintainappropriate supporting documentation according toprofessional financial accounting and reporting standards
  • Identify and recommend improvements to accounting andreporting processes
  • Participate in special projects and ensure project deliverythrough providing effective finance advice and support
  • Execute relevant internal controls to ensure the integrity ofoperations, financial and accounting practices.
  • Identify riskfactors that could adversely affect the business and adhereto procedures that mitigate identified risks or exposure torisk, and disclose risk information to relevant internal andexternal stakeholders
  • Prepare and report on business operations and financialconditions.
  • Perform within agreed processes to delivermanagement information according to the reporting cycle
  • Keep abreast of learning opportunities and changing trendsin your business environment
  • Participate and contribute to a development culture whereinformation regarding successes, issues, trends, and ideas
    are actively shared.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Registered Chartered AccountantCA (SA)
  • Registered Chartered AccountantCA (SA)
  • 0 to 2 years of working experience in financialfield post qualification
  • Experience in financial servicesindustry
