Financial Manager

A leading international web hosting company is looking for a hybrid Financial Manager to join their team in Cape Town.

The Financial Manager will work closely with the finance team and other departments to improve financial systems, processes, and controls. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role focuses on collaboration and supporting the organisation’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the finance team and partner with the rest of the organisation to understand and improve financial systems, processes and controls.
• Support the implementation of more efficient workflows and implement automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial control procedures.
• Support accurate financial reporting and compliance with IFRS and IFRS for SMEs in South Africa and Europe.
• Serve as backup to all finance team members, including the Head of Finance, to maintain continuity.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified CA(SA) or CGMA with 7+ years of professional experience in auditing and senior financial roles.
• International experience, preferably in a startup/SaaS environment.
• Competent in the use of accounting and related software (e.g. Sage Evolution, People, MS Excel).
• Experience implementing ERP system change is beneficial.

Salary:

• R780 000 - R1 080 000 / year CTC depending on the candidate’s experience.
