Financial Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the full financial function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
3. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.
4. Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk assessment.
5. Implement financial controls and ensure adherence to corporate governance and compliance requirements.
6. Work closely with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
7. Develop financial models and reports to aid in business strategy and growth initiatives.
8. Oversee payroll, tax submissions (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax), and liaise with SARS as needed.
9. Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team.
10. Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial efficiency and cost management.

Minimum Requirements:

1. BCom Finance Honours Degree or similar finance degree (Essential).
2. Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) (Preferred).
3. Minimum of 5-8 years' experience in financial management, with a proven track record of strategic financial oversight.
4. Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
5. Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and corporate governance.
6. Experience using Sage software (Preferred but not essential).
7. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
