Job Description

The Financial Director will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic and operational aspects of the business. The successful candidate will lead and direct the finance department, developing the overall financial strategy and managing the day-to-day finances.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership: Manage and nurture the financial team to ensure the production of timely and accurate reports and results.
• Financial Planning: Oversee all costing and financial accounting processes within the organization, preparing and consolidating comprehensive monthly management reports.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Enhance and refine budgeting and forecasting processes to optimize financial planning and decision-making.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with audit, legal, and corporate governance standards.
• Communication: Effectively communicate and report on all matters related to the South African Revenue Service (SARS).
• Project Management: Lead project management initiatives involving systems and process changes and improvements.

Requirements

• Qualifications: Qualified CA(SA)
• Experience: Minimum 8 years experience in financial management and 5 years management experience.
