Manage and control all financial activities for the business.
This includes, but is not limited to, exploring and seeking various workable financial frameworks.
Assist the Financial Director and the financial team with the financial execution.
Work in collaboration with all areas of finance in reviewing, scrutinizing, and developing efficient and effective systems, controls, and process flows.
Providing and interpreting financial information.
Finance risk gap analysis and mitigation.
Financial performance analysis.
Produce accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.
Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost reduction and avoidance opportunities.
Coordinate and manage the accounting and administration of maintenance and free services.
Prepare monthly reconciliations.
Coordinate and manage stock and related processes across the business (incl. but not limited to WIP, customs, and redisa levies).
Develop financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk.
Continuously review and maintain a sustainable documented system of accounting policies and procedures for the Group.
Research and report on factors influencing business performance.
Overall management of the Group's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems (incl. Evolve (ERP) ticket and project reviews).
Coordination of internal and external auditing processes.
Stakeholder management with appropriate contacts e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers, and statutory organizations such as the SARS.
Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation to ensure that the company is compliant.
Assist with the formulation of forecasts, strategic and long-term business plans.
Perform dealer audits.
Assist finance team with ad-hoc finance projects.
