Providing financial support for various divisions and business units.
Salary Range: R10 000
Graduate placement opportunity for 6 months
Location: Stanger. Water and Waste-Water Industry

Main Duties include:

1. Cost monitoring, reviews, cash flow and monthly reporting
2. Production of annual budgets, forecasts, monthly cost controlling and reporting cycle.
3. Review the General Ledger reporting and processing of P&L items
4. Monthly consolidation and related reporting
5. Assist Business unit/s management with monthly closing, annual budget and quarterly forecasts based on projects status
6. Presentation of monthly financial results to relevant Manager/s.
7. Take the lead with regards to financial control of the Business unit

Criteria:

1. Degree / B. Tech Cost Accounting or Management Accounting essential
2. 2 to 3 years experience preferably within a project accounting environment
3. Extensive knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cash flow and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
4. Extensive knowledge of JD Edwards financial and accounting system
5. Ability to train users (project managers and cost controllers).
6. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
7. Working knowledge of short- and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, monthly closing and project profitability analysis.
8. High level of technical efficiency & strong analytical skills
9. Excellent communication skills
