Duties:

1. Reconcile and substantiate the balance sheet and income statement monthly for group finance and annually for external audits.
2. Implementation of change projects aimed at improving month-end reporting and controls.
3. Assess the risk of business on-and-off balance sheet exposures.
4. Ensure that risk is managed and mitigated in alignment with the bank's credit policy.
5. Revenue reporting.
6. Liaise with internal and external auditors.

Education and experience:

1. CA(SA)
2. At least 5 years post article experience in a similar role.
3. Experience working at a bank is essential.
