Solugrowth is looking for a Financial Controller in Cape Town.

Job Description:

• Financial management of costs and recovery in respect of monthly variance analysis to budget per cluster.
• Monthly management meetings to discuss the performance of the cluster with the Cluster Head.
• Budgeting & forecasting for the cluster.
• Develop and maintain transparency of IT costs and cost drivers.
• Manage relationships with clients.
• Management of provisions and debtors controls.
• Translating financial reports to non-financial / IT technical people.
• Identify trends and provide corrective action.
• Financial process improvement and controls effectiveness.
• Perform month-end journals.
• Monthly, half-year, and year-end closing.
• Monthly reconciliation of headcount and debtors.

Job Requirements:

Chartered Accountant CA (SA) and will consider BCom with completed articles.

2-3 years relevant finance experience in IT and/or financial services.

Must have good financial knowledge and exposure, with strong Excel skills.

Technology savvy – the ability to understand IT-related concepts.

Attention to detail.
