Sanlam Investments Multi-Manager
As Solutions Architects, we believe that through an in-depth understanding of our clients’ needs, combined with our ability to construct portfolios which optimally blend multiple investment strategies and sources of risk and return, we enable our clients to achieve their desired investment outcomes.

With logical thinking and excellent numerical skills, provide support to the Financial Manager in the execution of his/her responsibilities, including:

  1. Verifying and allocating details of business transactions to accounts
  2. Receiving invoices from suppliers, checking reasonability and processing
  3. Calculating and processing invoices for fee income
  4. Ensuring collection of income
  5. Completing reconciliations
  6. Reviewing completeness and accuracy of financial record keeping
  7. Managing expenses against budgets and reporting back to management
  8. Compiling reports to management
  9. Resolving payment and invoicing queries
  10. Completing rebate calculations
  11. Assisting with month-end procedures, including provisions and reporting
  12. Assisting internal and external auditors with their requests
  13. Assisting with annual budget processes
  14. Following up on outstanding receivables/payables
  15. Checking and authorizing broker payments
  16. Ad hoc requests
  17. Completing and submitting asset and flows report (portfolio list)
  18. Manager fee expense reasonability checks and payments, and liaising with managers to resolve differences.

What will make you successful in this role?

• Accounting degree
• 3 – 5 years in a similar role in the financial services industry

Qualification and Experience

Grade 12 with 3 to 5 years related experience.

Knowledge and Skills

Recording of financial transactions, reconciliations, query resolution, compliance with SOP's and SLA's, authorisation of transactions within mandates.
