Our client is looking for a Financial Controller to join their team in Johannesburg.
Responsibilities:
Act as a business partner to various departments/stakeholders.
Preparation and distribution of monthly management reports and analysis of results (standard costing/variance/profitability/overheads/inventory valuations).
Review existing and implement new controlling SOPs.
Manage the finance team, debtors, creditors, and bookkeeping.
Oversee inventory management with operations.
Manage IT infrastructure.
Compile accurate monthly accounts for the business.
Ensure financial close procedures are in line, including account reconciliations and full review of P&L accounts.
Maintain processes and procedures for efficient and effective management of operations, including billing and debtor management.
Work with corporate functions to align with group standards.
Complete accurate monthly forward forecasting.
Manage and own the budget process in line with corporate timelines and requirements.
Manage and own the annual financial audit process in line with timelines and requirements.
Prepare and control the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes.
Perform other ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

Qualifications:
Professional accountancy qualification
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a finance management environment
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
