Financial Controller

A collection of luxury lodges and camps, specializing in unparalleled experiences within Africa's breathtaking landscapes, seeks a driven Financial Controller in Johannesburg.

If you are a CA (SA) with a strong grasp of IFRS, tax law, and advanced Excel, and possess the ability to manage GL accounts, bank reconciliations, and tax compliance, you may be the ideal fit.

Responsibilities:

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring financial integrity and operational efficiency, contributing to the creation of unforgettable moments for guests within sanctuaries that blend world-class comfort with the raw beauty of the wilderness.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Newly qualified CA (SA) or 2-4 years experience in a similar role.
2. Strong working knowledge of Income Tax, VAT, and Company law.
3. Proficiency in MS Excel is essential; knowledge of TourPlan, Great Plains, and Tagetik is highly advantageous.
4. Experience within an international company or exposure to foreign currencies is a significant plus.
5. Sound working knowledge of IFRS.
6. A genuine interest in wildlife and a commitment to sustainability and conservation.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
