New opportunity as Financial Controller has become available at property level with a leading hotel group based in Gqeberha.
Requirements:
- Three-year financial qualification (B.Com / Diploma / CIS / IAC / CCA) (NQF level 5)
- Sound MS Office skills; relevant financial software (SAP, TM1, OneSource) & operational systems (Opera, Micros, Midas Station7)
- At least three years' experience in a similar role
- South African national or citizen
About the role:As Financial Controller, your primary responsibility would be to oversee and manage all financial operations of the hotel, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
Your duties would include:
- Overseeing the budgeting and forecasting process
- Analysing financial statements
- Producing regular reports that provide insight into the hotel's financial performance
- Management of hotel cash flow
- Monitoring expenses
- Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations
You would also be responsible for leading and managing a team of finance professionals including training and development, setting performance targets, and evaluating performance.
Start date: 1 November, depending on a candidate's notice period
Salary package: R45000 - 47000 CTC DOE (Normal BCEA & Short-Term Incentive Bonus)
