Financial Controller

An industry leader within the hospitality industry is looking for a Financial Controller who is operational and triumphant. Reference: CMF-THA-1. Can you give our balance sheet the happy guarantee, whilst delivering the hotel masterplan with a strategic focus on the guest and revenue generation?

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Maximizing cash flow performance of the hotel
2. Enforcing & establishing adequate controls for all revenues and protection of assets to improve the level of guest service
3. Providing financial guidance in the formulation and implementation of the hotel business plan and departmental budgets
4. People developer with a proven track record in a similar role within a hospitality environment
5. Demonstrating excellent standards and team member management
6. Commercially aware and a natural problem solver
7. Driven and ambitious to inspire the team to consistently deliver and exceed
8. Clear thinker with excellent communication abilities
9. Strong working knowledge of Opera Property Management System
10. Strong knowledge of payroll, budget, and revenue systems
11. An ability to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

1. Bcom Accounting
2. 3-4 years' experience within the hospitality industry
3. SAP experience will be a huge advantage
4. BPC 11 (Material stock control)
5. Opera
6. Micros
7. Ms Office
