The financial administrator performs routine and repetitive clerical accounting and bookkeeping duties following established procedures. Advice and assistance are readily available, and difficult or unusual problems are usually referred to the accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Raising invoices and arranging for the payment of invoices
• Debtors and creditors (clients)
• Administration
• Maintaining accounting or bookkeeping records
• Efficiently carrying out general administrative duties

Minimum Requirements:

• Higher education diploma in accounting
• Minimum five years’ experience in a finance department
• Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and principles
• Skill in both verbal and written communication
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in MS Word and MS Excel

The ideal candidate should possess the following characteristics:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong time management skills to meet deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure
