About the Company:

Position Overview:

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial statements, conducting market research, and preparing comprehensive presentations such as Confidential Information Memoranda (CIM). The role involves detailed financial analysis, collaboration with team members, and occasionally creating SOP documents and pitch decks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct in-depth market research to identify market trends, growth opportunities, and risks from a global to local level.
• Prepare comprehensive CIM presentations, teasers, and white-labeled financials (including graphs, statistics, and examples).
• Occasionally prepare written SOP documents and workflow diagrams.
• Occasionally prepare startup and fundraising pitch decks.
• Collaborate with other team members to gather relevant information and insights for presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst, Accountant, or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in working with and understanding financial statements (generating graphs from financial statements).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis.
• Strong business writing skills with the ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Located within the CET time zone (Africa or Europe preferred).
