About the Role:
Pavago is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Analyst to support our client's team. This role involves evaluating financial data, consolidating large datasets, and presenting actionable insights to drive decision-making. The ideal candidate is skilled in financial analysis, business management, and critical thinking, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Evaluation: Perform in-depth financial analysis of new company opportunities, including valuations and forecasting.
- Data Consolidation: Work with large datasets to extract key insights and ensure accuracy for decision-making.
- Critical Thinking: Apply analytical skills to assess business opportunities and operational challenges.
- Presentation Preparation: Create compelling presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint to communicate findings effectively.
- Business Management Support: Assist in evaluating and improving operational strategies for existing businesses.
- Daily Operations: Balance time between addressing new company opportunities and supporting ongoing operating businesses.
Required Skills & Experience:- Experience: 2+ years in financial analysis, private equity, or a related field. Prior experience managing businesses is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with QuickBooks and other online applications.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to synthesize data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of operational and financial metrics critical to business success.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and respond quickly to new challenges and opportunities.

What Does a Typical Day Look Like?Your day will involve analyzing new company opportunities for 3 hours, addressing fire drills, and preparing evaluations. The remaining 6 hours will focus on supporting the operations of existing businesses, including data analysis, financial reporting, and process improvement. You'll use tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks to deliver high-quality insights and ensure operational efficiency.
