Financial Analyst

Hire Resolve is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join the team of our client, a leading company specializing in the production, processing, and distribution of high-quality red meat products, with a primary focus on lamb and beef. Responsibilities

1. Oversee the movement and control of all product inventories, including carcasses and boxes, from internal and external suppliers per company procedures.
2. Manage the control and issuing of dry goods and consumable inventory according to organizational processes.
3. Ensure proper labeling and placement of inventory items.
4. Coordinate and submit all paperwork for stock intakes to the Creditors Department for both onsite and offsite locations.
5. Conduct weekly stock-taking and posting of stock batches for all inventory items as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
6. Perform weekly/monthly reconciliations of inventory movements, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective measures.
7. Generate weekly and monthly reports on inventory movements and variances.
8. Analyze inventory patterns and trends to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
9. Act as a finance liaison, providing support to the Plant Manager and Analyst team on stock-related matters.
10. Supervise and coordinate stock-taking teams.
11. Foster a positive and productive work environment by managing conflicts and maintaining stable employee relations.

Requirements

1. Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Finance.
2. 3-5 years of experience in inventory control.
3. 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
4. High attention to accuracy.
5. Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
6. Strong computer literacy skills.
7. Understanding of yield management and analysis.
