What you'll be doing?

1. Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of improvement.
2. Conduct in-depth variance analysis on company profit and loss statements, highlighting key drivers of performance.
3. Utilize advanced Excel and Google Sheets functionalities to streamline financial processes and reporting.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
5. Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
6. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to best practices.
7. Actively participate in team meetings, offering constructive input and contributing to the achievement of team goals.
8. Proactively identify potential issues or discrepancies in financial data and escalate as necessary.
9. Follow established procedures and guidelines while also demonstrating the ability to challenge assumptions and propose alternative solutions.

About You

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
2. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in [industry/sector].
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions such as lookups, pivot tables, and macros) and Google Sheets.
4. Strong understanding of financial principles, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
6. Excellent project management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
8. Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
