Financial Accountant

A large JSE listed company in the Greater Johannesburg area is looking for a Financial Accountant

POSITION INFO : Requirements :

• An accounting qualification – degree or diploma
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in an accounting role
• Working knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Key responsibilities

Overall purpose of the role :

To provide management with accurate and timely business and financial information

Responsibilities include :

• Income statement analysis and maintenance
• Balance sheet analysis and maintenance
• Bank account management
• Budget preparation
• Conducting financial feasibility studies
• Preparing board packs and other financial reports required from time to time
