Duties & Responsibilities

1. Retail accounts receivable, inventory and supplier accounts payable
2. Cash flow: Manage payments, allowances, levels of stock distribution
3. Budget: Help formalise and install budget process
4. Develop and track KPIs
5. Managing other returns, including but not limited to: CIPC, banks, workmen's compensation, UIF, SDL etc.
6. Prepare all SARS returns (PAYE, VAT, etc.)
7. Work on payroll with the HR Manager
8. Attending to SARS related queries
9. Capturing and allocation of invoices
10. Debtors and creditors
11. Collection of outstanding accounts
12. Obtaining consumable quotations from suppliers
13. Update and maintain the customer list
14. Follow month end procedures and follow ups
15. Petty Cash control
16. Receive & verify (for validity) all creditor invoices weekly in accordance with the normal creditors schedule
17. Provide creditors with a Remittance advice
18. Updating the supplier list with current prices
19. File working papers for all the transactions and capture journal entries on Omni
20. Engage in any adhoc admin duties and requirements as they may occur from time to time
21. Willingness to work overtime when required
22. Handle & resolve all customer finance related & creditor queries
23. Strong on compliance

Desired Experience & Qualification

1. Qualification in Finance Field
2. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
3. Excellent relationship building skills
4. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
5. Excellent administrative and organizational skills
6. Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time
7. Able to work unsupervised and manage own time / activities
8. Must have excellent reporting and record-keeping skills
9. Must be able to work under pressure
10. Professional and deadline oriented
11. Must have an innate sense of accountability and urgency
12. Team player
13. FMCG experience an advantage
14. Must possess high levels of integrity

Package & Remuneration

R20k to R25k per month
