Seeking a detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial processes, manage our finance team, and ensure accuracy in financial documentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving efficient cash flow and collections, while demonstrating strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills to maintain seamless finance operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CA or CPA preferred.
Experience: 5+ years in financial management, ideally in a similar role.
Skills: Proficiency in financial software, strong analytical skills, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Banking: Oversee daily banking activities, ensuring timely deposits, reconciliations, and accurate recording. Resolve any banking discrepancies promptly.
- Finance Reconciliations: Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of financial records. Ensure cross-departmental accuracy and compliance.
- Petty Cash Management: Monitor and document petty cash usage, ensuring compliance. Reconcile petty cash and report variances.
- DAS/Finance Queries: Address all finance-related queries, including DAS support, to provide efficient customer service. Resolve discrepancies in collaboration with other departments.
- Cancellations and Refunds: Process cancellations and refunds, adhering to policies. Conduct audits of transactions for accuracy and compliance.
- Collections Process: Develop and manage collections to maximize cash inflow. Track outstanding balances and facilitate payments recovery.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and support the finance team, overseeing recruitment, training, and evaluations. Align team objectives with financial goals.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare financial statements and reports for management review. Provide insights through financial analysis for strategic decisions.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead budgeting, coordinating with departments to gather data. Monitor budget variances and adjust forecasts.
- Compliance and Audit Preparation: Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and prepare for audits. Maintain documentation for audit purposes.
- Other Finance Duties: Monitor financial risk and assist in risk mitigation.
- Monthly Commissions: Compile commission reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with metrics.
