FINANCE MANAGER (CIMA) - ZAR 1 MILLION pa - STELLENBOSCH SURROUNDS

Outstanding opportunity for a CIMA qualified, costing-model-wizard with a flair for automation and business efficiency optimisation to join a well established and market leading manufacturing business as Finance Manager.

ROLE:

1. Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
2. Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
3. Ensure import and export compliance.
4. Manage the Asset Register.
5. Strong Forex experience and maintain banking relationships.
6. Monitor and manage cash flow and banking relationships.
7. Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax and statutory reporting requirements.
8. Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
9. Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives and cost control measures.
10. Review discrepancies around costing and conduct operational variance analysis.
11. Assist operations in identifying gaps and driving performance.
12. Prepare monthly P&L’s and management reports.
13. Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and costings.
14. Review and recommend opportunities to reduce expenditure and optimize efficiencies.
15. Lead the Finance Team.
16. Oversee the IT function of the Company.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. ACMA, CGMA / CIMA Complete or near complete
2. Bachelors and Honors Degrees in Finance
3. Completed articles
4. 5+ years in Manufacturing
5. Must have experience with implementing structure, documenting processes with SOP's and more efficient, streamlined systems
6. Proven experience as a Financial Manager in manufacturing
7. In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
8. Proficiency in Pastel.
9. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
10. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a finance team.
