Finance Manager

Our client, a well-established hotel in Graaff-Reinet is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is ready to take ownership of all financial functions.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the finance team and manage daily accounting operations
• Oversee debtors, creditors and cash flow
• Handle stock control and accurate cost allocations
• Process journal entries and manage the fixed asset register
• Prepare and review management reports and budgets
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, VAT submissions and audit requirements
• Manage payroll submissions and assist with HR-related admin
• Support annual audits and year-end financial processes
• Handle ad hoc duties (e.g. license renewals, insurance claims, B-BBEE, solar tracking)

Requirements:

• BCom or relevant qualification in accounting or finance
• Proven experience in a similar finance role (hospitality experience a plus)
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems and stock management
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and lead a small team

Please note: This is an on-site position and the successful candidate must be willing to stay in Graaff-Reinet.
