Finance Manager

A great opportunity for an ambitious incumbent to fulfil the role of Finance Manager for a leading debt collecting company in the financial services sector. This role reports to the Managing Director of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and long-term objectives.
• Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making to senior management.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial strategies are integrated into business operations.
• Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions to optimise profitability and cost management.
• Prepare and present financial reports and performance metrics to the Managing Director.
• Manage cash flow, cost control, and financial risk.
• Provide financial insights to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
• Lead and mentor a finance team to enhance efficiency and performance.

Education:

• CA (SA)

Experience:

• 2 years of post-articles experience in financial management.
• Strong background in financial reporting, tax and compliance.
