ABOUT THE JOB :

JOB PURPOSE
Support the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

This position involves assisting with general financial tasks, including purchase orders, analyzing Opex, assisting with internal and external audits, and providing support to extended senior finance team members (Account to report, Treasury, Finance business partners).

SCOPE
Coordinating with various departments to gather and communicate necessary financial data. The role will also involve learning and implementing internal controls and contributing to continuous improvement in financial processes. Additionally, the role offers various training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in accounting and financial reporting.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Assist with management of budgets and forecasting exercises.
2. Monitor & analyze Opex.
3. Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and management reports.
4. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
5. Support the Accounts to report, Treasury, and Finance business partners functions.
6. Coordinate with internal and external auditors where necessary.
7. Learn and help implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
8. Provide support in financial insights to assist business decisions.
9. Contribute to continuous improvement in financial reporting processes.
10. Collaborate with and learn from senior finance team members.

ABOUT YOU : JOB-HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing).
2. Basic understanding of accounting principles and regulatory standards.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Proficiency in Excel & Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
