Finance Decision Support Lead

A leading Financial Institution is on the lookout for a Finance Decision Support Lead - a dynamic individual who thrives on influencing executive decisions through insight-driven analysis and sharp commercial acumen.

This role partners closely with senior leadership to provide critical insights on performance, risk, and market conditions. You’ll work across departments - from finance to risk and compliance - to ensure decision-makers have access to accurate, real-time data that drives results.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth financial, operational and market data analysis to guide executive decisions
• Develop and manage dashboards, reports, and KPIs for strategic visibility
• Partner with senior leaders to support decision-making aligned with long-term strategy
• Lead financial forecasting, budgeting and scenario modelling
• Perform risk and performance assessments to identify growth opportunities and challenges
• Deliver competitor and market intelligence to enhance the organisation’s positioning
• Produce clear, executive-ready presentations and reporting packs
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align on priorities and streamline reporting efforts
• Leverage BI tools to enhance decision support

Requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (Non-negotiable)
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in group reporting within the financial services sector
• Proven experience in group consolidations and statutory reporting
• Demonstrated exposure to board and executive-level reporting
• Strong track record in financial and competitor analysis
• Advanced proficiency in data visualisation and financial modelling tools
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for diverse audiences
