Finance Clerk Cater Chain FTC (6months) at Famous Brands

Duties & Responsibilities

• Control and maintain the Pricing Database.
• Ensure that all BOMs and recipes agree at all times and that any changes are updated timeously.
• Drive compliance to stock management procedures.
• Reconcile standard and actual cost variances on a monthly basis, ensuring all adjustments are processed timeously.
• Maintain Bills of Materials for all SKUs and recipes.
• Actively analyze costs and provide management with information for decision-making.
• Conduct GP analysis for Manufacturing Plants.
• Participate in activity-based costings, yield analysis, cost savings measures, and all ad-hoc manufacturing related projects.
• Support business unit with stock takes and assist with variance investigations & explanations.
• Responsible for Bill of Materials costing and yield analysis.
• Maintain the integrity of data accuracy across all systems.
• Liaise with Creditors and Debtors.
• Control purchase orders, perform receipting, and transfer to creditors for timely payment.
• Perform general office duties as required to maintain effective administration.
• Control manual invoice systems and ensure they are converted timeously. Maintain integrity of filing system, including capturing, paying, and preparing supplier invoices.

General tasks related to administration.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Matric.
• Relevant tertiary formal qualification.
• Minimum of 2 (Two) years' financial experience.
• Experience in FMCG environment will be an advantage.
